It is great to see Mavenir back and focused. For the past several years, they have been trying to enter the RAN market, and due to various factors, the RAN market has remained largely closed and now Mavenir is retrenching and expanding in their traditional strengths and markets including: voice, messaging, IMS, and, more recently packet core networks. Looking ahead to 6G, Mavenir is proposing AI and agentic AI thoughout the network stack to be orchestrated by a new “Intent Orchestration Layer” which would sit above the OSS and would orchestrate all of the cross-domain AI and agentic AI efforts, requiring high degrees of cooperation in multi-vendor networks.Mavenir is a strong engineering company and they are showing good progress in the NTN (satellite) and MVNO packet core markets. These are mostly greenfield accounts that are pushing newer business models and where cost control and efficiency are priorities. Thank you Mavenir for a productive two days.
